Nepal Oil
Corporation vacancy 2081 invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens to
permanently fill the following vacant positions through an open competitive

Additional Information Regarding the Required Five-Year Experience for Level 8:
To meet the five-year experience requirement for Level 8, the following
conditions must be fulfilled to acknowledge work done at the officer level in
relevant fields after appointment to a related institution. Recognition will be
granted based on the appointment letter or contract agreement and a service
period certificate from the relevant institution:
- Civil and Other Government Bodies
- Government-Owned Institutions: Organizations fully or partially owned by the Government of Nepal.
- Development Committees: Established under the Development Committee Act, 2013.
- Institutions Established by Law: Bodies founded through legal statutes.
- United Nations and Its Agencies: Including specialized bodies of the UN.
- Intergovernmental International Organizations
- Constituent Campuses of Universities
- Community Schools or Campuses
For any other institutions, including national and international
non-governmental organizations (except those mentioned in section (1)), the
work experience will only be recognized if accompanied by the appointment
letter, contract agreement, and a service certificate from the institution.
Additionally, the submission of regulations or evidence confirming that
recruitment at the officer level was consistent with official procedures,
qualifications, organizational structure, and service terms is required.
Experience will only be acknowledged if the recruitment process follows these
standards.
Experience of Government Employees in Other Bodies or Organizations:
If a government employee presents work experience from another organization,
it will only be recognized if they submit a letter of prior approval from the
Government of Nepal and a leave approval letter for the service period.
Conditions for Recognizing Work Experience:
- If service has been provided to two or more institutions simultaneously, only one full-time experience will be counted.
- Part-time work (less than 40 hours a week) will not be accepted.
- If the appointment letter or contract mentions part-time service, such experience will not count.
- Experience gained before meeting the minimum educational qualification will not be recognized.
- Temporary or contract work experience of less than one year will not be considered.
- Experience at a subordinate position (assistant level) or acting officer positions will not be counted.
- For candidates holding a Ph.D., the required experience period will be reduced by two years.
Important Notice:
Examination Centers:
- All examinations will be held in Kathmandu, and the written exams will be conducted by the Public Service Commission (PSC). The exam schedule will be announced after receiving confirmation from the PSC.
Age Limit:
- As of the last application submission date:
- For non-level, Level 4, and Level 5 positions: 18 to 35 years.
- For Level 6 and Level 7 positions: 21 to 35 years.
- For Level 8 positions: 21 to 45 years.
- For candidates from the Dalit and disabled categories, the upper age limit is extended to 40 years.
- Permanent employees of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) have no age restrictions.
Application Fees:
- Level 8, 7, and 6: NPR 1,000
- Level 5: NPR 400
- Level 4: NPR 300
- Non-level positions: NPR 200
For applicants applying to multiple inclusive categories within the same
position:
- Level 6: NPR 400 per additional category
- Level 5: NPR 200 per additional category
- Level 4: NPR 150 per additional category
- Non-level: NPR 100 per additional category
The period for submitting double fees will not be considered when
calculating age, education, experience, or other criteria.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed the required educational qualifications by
the last application submission date. Certificates, transcripts, and academic
records must be submitted, and foreign degree holders must provide equivalent
certification from relevant authorities in Nepal.

The exam syllabus can be found on the NOC website at www.noc.org.np.
Document Submission:
Candidates are required to submit certified copies of their educational qualifications.
Applicants applying under the inclusive group must provide certified documents
from the appropriate authorities.
Engineering and Chartered Accountant Positions:
For Level 6 and higher positions in engineering, candidates must submit
proof of registration with the Engineering Council. Chartered Accountant
applicants must submit a membership certificate from the Nepal Chartered
Accountants Institute.
Reservation for NOC Employees:
As per regulation 4.2(10) of the Nepal Oil Corporation Employee
Administration Regulations, 2063 (and amendments), employees who have already
availed of the NOC’s reservation facility once are ineligible for future
reservations. Employees must declare if they have used any reservation
benefits.
